5 Cars to watch out for at the LA Auto Show

In early December, thousands of car aficionados from around the globe will descend on Los Angeles for a singular purpose: The LA Auto Show. And while most car lovers will focus on new models by the likes of Toyota and GMC, others have a different idea: find the most luxurious or exotic cars that will hit the market in the near future.

If you’re among the latter group, you have come to the right place. If you are still on the fence about attending the LA Auto Show, we have some reasons to convince you. Here are 5 cars you should be on the lookout for at LA Auto Show.

1) 2018 Cadillac CT6 Platinum

Few things are standard with what’s sure to be Cadillac’s flagship sedan of the coming year. In fact, it has one feature that has been widely reviewed and highlighted by publications around the country: a full-on autopilot. On highways, drivers can sit back, relax, and let the car do the rest in terms of staying in the lane.

The Super Cruise feature takes the headlines, but the features don’t end there. At the LA Auto Show, car lovers will appreciate the sleek design, luxurious interior, and LCD screens for every seat. Given these features, the 404 horsepower V6 engine almost becomes an afterthought.

2) MINI Electric Concept

This car might not fully fit into the luxury category yet, but it’s certainly exotic. MINI is set to unveil its Electronic Concept, a fully electric take on the classic design. Four-spoke wheels and even the iconic grill, though no longer needed in this voltage vehicle, convey the full MINI experience.

The Electric Concept won’t go into mass market production until 2019. That means visitors to the show will receive an exclusive look at what might be the future of vehicular traffic. While few experiences can replace the raw power of a Ferrari or Lamborghini, electric may soon become the norm in more understated, elegant alternatives.

3) 2018 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible 1LT

Few cars embody the dream of an American muscle car more than Corvettes. So why not visit Los Angeles to check out the newest version of this iconic model? The 2018 Stingray version uses its 460 horsepower V8 engine to go from 0 to 60 in less than 4 seconds, reaching top speeds of up to 175 miles per hour.

As powerful as the as the exterior is, the interior may be even more impressive. Luxurious leather seats provide comfort, while the fully connected interior can create a WiFi hotspot that ensures you’ll stay integrated with the world, no matter where you go. Not in production yet, the Corvette is sure to attract an audience in December.

4) 2018 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider

Small, but powerful. That’s the best way to describe the Spider, Alfa Romeo’s premier sports car. In the 2018 model, the Italian automaker may just have outdone itself. It’s the street version of a popular race car that toured the world’s raceways as long as 45 years ago.

Scheduled to be released early next year, the Spider is re-entering the American market after being absent for more than two decades. That feat, in addition to the unique combination of small size and sheer power, may just make it one of the most exotic vehicles available in the United States upon release.

5) 2018 Cadillac Escalade Platinum

Don’t think of it as simply the newest version of the world’s most famous luxury SUV. Think of it as the family vehicle set to once again revolutionize the market. Rumors surround the new Cadillac Escalade, which will feature every bit of interior luxury available.

A full-on entertainment center, WiFi capabilities, and hands-free communication system bring the technology. A sunroof, rain sensing wipers, and parking aids keep all passengers safe. Who said that families couldn’t experience a full-on luxurious drive?

The Mystery Cars to Come

As far as revelations go, the LA Auto Show is just getting started. A number of luxury automakers have yet to reveal their big-ticket items, leaving plenty of suspense for any visitor looking to find their new car or simply look at exotic vehicles.

Mercedes-Benz, Lincoln, Lexus, and BMW are all set to debut new models at the show. Meanwhile, Jaguar and Maserati will both be present, and might have a surprise or two in store for guests. Keep an eye on the regularly updated Vehicles on Display page of the LA Auto Show’s website.

How the Right Exotic Car Rental Can Turn a Drive Into an Experience

Over the past few decades, people have driven luxury cars for a simple reason: to turn a drive into an experience. Few things compare to driving through the Hamptons or New York City in a Ferrari convertible, or arriving at a party in San FranciscoMiami or Las Vegas in the luxurious confines of a Jaguar. The typically functional process of driving seamlessly transforms into an organic, unforgettable experience.

Generally speaking, there are two ways to get to that point. You could look to amass a collection of exotic cars, driving all only periodically. Or, of course, you could experience the joys of a luxury vehicle without the commitment attached. Which sounds better?
